SCOTUS has declined to block the ruling by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals -- i.e., the ruling which allowed the abortion restrictions to stay in effect while the case is being considered. This doesn't (afaik) affect whether or not HB2 will be ruled unconstitutional, but it DOES mean that the law will go into effect while the judiciary continues to sort this shit out.
Just to be clear, the 5th Circuit is still hearing arguments on the merits of #HB2 in January. SCOTUS refusal doesnt change that.

Which means that even if the law is declared unconstitutional (which, you know, it SHOULD BE), women and people with uteri can still be hurt in the meantime because fuck them amiright. So thanks for not doing your job, SCOTUS. *that face*
