If you're into the Audible ecosystem -- and it does very conveniently follow you around on all your iPhones, Android devices, and Kindles -- this is a good deal to grab. Just throw the book into your cart, and then uncheck the option to spend a credit (since the credits cost more than $1.99) and your cart should update with the correct total.

Also, I don't have a Kindle, but if someone DOES and they try out that Whispersync for voice, could you tell me how it goes? I'm inordinately curious.

Make sure to buy the Kindle eBook ($2.99) first, then go over to Audible and buy the audiobook so that the Audible cart reflects the $1.99 Whispersync combo sale. And Whispersync is awesome.

Anyways, yes, Whispersync is excellent: I use Kindle for Android to read eBooks on my tablet, then I listen to audiobooks on my phone (with Audible for Android) as I walk around or sit on the bus. I can put down the tablet, walk outside, and pick up listening on my phone right where I left off with one Whispersync button press.
